Brian Heywood Fool's Gold This is an upbeat song that takes a happy look at moving away from a bad place. We've had this one on the backburner for a little while now as my life went through some major changes - and of course we had the pandemic lockdown. Now this sounds like the song might be a bit of downer, but it occured to Brian when he wrote it, that if you look forward, rather than backwards, you can head for a much happier situation. Musically it is a blend of happy country rock and pop, with a catchy vocal hook and a driving beat that will get you tapping your feet in no time. It also features the amazing backing vocals of Dawn Moore, who is Brian's partner in the Heywood & Moore band. So, apart from Dawn - and Mike the drummer - everything else is Brian - his voice, acoustic guitar and bass guitar playing are on full display in this track, including some cute Nashville guitar.
