This single release is a dark and moody look and getting out of a bad relationship, but with a hopeful outcome...
Country music is supposed to be all about "three chords and the truth" and Dawn’s song Tumbleweed is just that,
a deeply personal confession. It explores the reluctance that we have to let go of a long-term relationship.
Specifically, a relationship into which we have invested our soul, energy, drive, spirit and life and the
heart-breaking acceptance that it has evolved into a prison, becoming a bed of lies with no apparent escape.
Ultimately, Tumbleweed is a record of the despair of living in a relationship without hope whilst maintaining
the pipe dream that somehow it can be saved.
Dawn Moore and Brian Heywood are based on the central coast of NSW. Their music combines the storytelling of
traditional country with the edgy roots guitar.

Quotes
"Most country rock bands today are predictable producing songs that have similar lyrics and standard melody lines, but
every now and then one comes along offering something new, that raw toe tapping sound that just makes you wanna get up and dance!
Heywood and Moore never miss and have produced perhaps their best effort yet with a lively track that’s sure to get plenty of air
play. It’s called simply 'Tumbleweed' written by Dawn Moore with Brian Heywood helping mix the music.
It contains that infectious sound that the Hoedown Band are world famous for! I couldn’t stop playing it and will certainly give
it plenty of airplay, adding it to my station playlist for future spins. Do yourself a favour, if ya love Country Rock with that raw
boot stomping beat catch the Hoedown band next time they visit your area , and buy the song ‘Tumbleweed’, ya won’t be sorry!!"
